Randell Jones

Local author and historian Randell Jones will highlight the role of the Yadkin River in the settlement of the North Carolina Piedmont and the role the Yadkin played in the founding of the United States.

Randell is the author of In the Footsteps of Daniel Boone and Before They Were Heroes at Kings Mountain as well as other books of the pioneer era and the American Revolution. Most of his books feature historical aspects of North Carolina, including From Time to Time in North Carolina and Scoundrels, Rogues, and Heroes of the Old North State.
