Join Yadkin Riverkeeper (YRK) Edgar Miller for lunch at the Happy Valley Filling Station on the upper Yadkin River near Patterson to learn more about YRK’s efforts to improve water quality and expand recreational access to the Yadkin River. The NC Division of Parks and Recreation designated YRK as its official nonprofit partner to promote and improve the Yadkin River State Trail (YRST) blueway in 2022. As part of that partnership, YRK is seeking community input on possibly extending the official YRST designation to the Yadkin above Kerr Scott Reservoir as it flows through Happy Valley. Co-sponsored by the Happy Valley Filling Station. No charge for lunch, but registration is recommended.
