Join us on Saturday, September 16th for the 2023 High Rock Lake CLEAN SWEEP!

Location: SOUTHMONT ACCESS AREA (Wildlife Rec Area Access Rd, Lexington, NC)

You are encouraged to use your own boat to collect trash and bring to the dumpsters. We will also have a limited number of YRK boats available for use, or you can clean up on land.

Dumpsters will be located at the Southmont Access Area on the Davidson County side of the lake and Second Dutchman's Creek Access Area on the Rowan County side.

Yadkin Riverkeeper will be on site at the Southmont Access to provide trash bags, gloves, masks, trash picker uppers, etc. Other HRL Clean Sweep steering committee members will be on the Rowan Co. side.

Due to the limited number of on-shore volunteers to assist with off loading trash, please do not bring in large, bulky items like floating docks or other large marine debris.

Lunch will be provided at both access areas.
