A flatwater paddle on a hidden gem of the Yadkin River: Falls Reservoir. Surrounded by the steep, undeveloped mountains of the Uwharries on one side and Morrow Mountain State Park on the other, this paddle feels more like a mountain lake than the Piedmont. We will travel up to the base area of the Narrows Dam, and then explore our way back down to the access area. Lunch will be provided before the paddle.

This is a 3-hour paddle. Lunch will be provided before the paddle.

Note: Personal Flotation Devices (PFD's) are REQUIRED for all paddlers. PFD's are included in your kayak or canoe rental, and if you are using a YRK boat; however, if you are supplying your own boat, please bring a PFD. All paddlers are required to sign a waiver; if you have a minor child, the waiver must be signed by a parent or guardian.
